Welcome!
Our small family owned Rabbitry hand raises indoor Pedigreed Holland Lops, Mini Plush Lops, Teddywidders, and Lionheads. Our primary focus is on conformation and temperament within our parallel color projects in Gene carriers of WE (White Eared) and VM (Vienna Marked). We do have a variety of colors in all our breeds.
We are located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest (Beaverton, Oregon).
Our lovely property is home to many second-growth pine trees standing more than 100 feet! The perfect shady play space for rabbit zoomies.
Our rabbits are well socialized, hand-raised indoors and litter box potty trained. We focus on breeding quality kits over quantity. Our rabbits are indoors with air conditioning, heating, an air purification system for their space and fans. Each bunny has their own bunny den, with all their personal items. They sleep in their dens at night and are out playing in our play areas, or outside in our bunny yard, during the daytime. Their bunny dens have solid surface bottoms. Their indoor play areas consist of soft/solid surfaces like carpet, rugs, mats, tile, and hardwood flooring along with their paper bedding, wood toys and tunnels, blankets, and bunny beds. In the warm months we also offer every bunny tile cooling mats. Which they love and lay on. They are used to a lot of things like; children (volunteer cuddlers), vacuums, our cats, Maximus Prime and Rosie, and our Corgi Einstein.
Our breeding Bucks and Does are chosen for their chill temperaments, unique colors, and quality build. Our goal is to pass these traits to their offspring producing quality Pet, Brood and Show quality rabbits that are healthy and sustain a long life. Although we do produce brood and show quality bunnies, most of our bunnies go to families since our primary focus is on companionship. Many people, including our own children, use bunnies as therapy animals. We currently do not offer personal bunny therapy but are working towards this as a future goal. As we’ve seen so much personal success with this in our family.
Our bunnies are free fed hay and water at all times.
We feed our bunnies a personalized pellet feed mix of Purina Professional pellets, large compressed alfalfa pellets and Mana Pro with probiotics pellets. We buy our organic hay in bulk by the bale from locally sourced farms. We make our own hay mix of Alfalfa, Timothy Hay and Orchard Grass. Sometimes we are also able to buy other field grasses depending on availability. Hay is the primary food source for our bunnies, with pellets being secondary and then our other additions. We also offer our buns fresh foods appropriate for their age and development. For our herd bunnies over 6 months of age, we offer weekly, a hand made mixture of dry goodies consisting of: Steel Cut and Whole Oats, dry herbs and flowers (Marigold, Basil, Thyme, Hibiscus).
We also make our own dry snacks, which vary depending on what we have on hand. Every bunny den has a salt/mineral lick, pinecones (sourced from our backyard), organic bamboo sticks and other chew toys.
Our rabbits have open access to mentally stimulating enrichment activities with many things they can safely chew on and explore.
