About Our Community Adoption Program
- Our Community Program connects adoptable surrendered and abandoned bunnies with loving forever homes!
- Our foster bunnies are completely separate from our Bunny Nursery. For health and safety none of the bunnies are not comingled. The only exception for this would be if a family wants to adopt and bond a bunny from both our Foster program and our Bunny Nursery. We will selectively and individually bond bunnies in a 3rd space. You can ask us for recommendation on this also.
- There is no fee to surrender a bunny to us.
- All bunnies that are accepted into the program go through pre-adoption health and social assessments, preventative internal and external parasite treatments, a full groom that includes nail trim, teeth trim (if applicable) and other items, as applicable.
- Each bunny will also go through litterbox training if not already established.
- You can find our current available Foster Bunnies on the Foster Bunny page.
- Detailed information about each bunny is listed on their individual pages.
- Our program space is limited. We make considerations on a case by case basis.
- Anyone can surrender a bunny to us for any reason. Our goal is to education and support.
- All bunnies that are part of our Community Program are available to indoor pet homes only and come with a no-breeding agreement.
- We offer lifetime support for all of our adoptions.
- All of the bunnies listed here are in our care and located in Beaverton, Oregon unless otherwise noted on their page.
- We do have transport and shipping services available. Check out those respective pages.
- If you have questions, please reach out to us
- Adoptions are on a first come first served basis.
- We offer extensive information on our website to get you started on basic bunny care.
- If you surrender a bunny and they have any supplies, their supplies will stay with them.
Virtual Meet & Greets!
- Meet a bunny you are interested in reserving or adopting.
- Meet a bunny you already reserved but they're not ready to go home yet.
- In person appointments are very limited to Pick Up/Drop Off and Physical Services Only.
- A link for your virtual Meet & Greet will be provided once your appointment is booked.
- Remember adoptions are first come, first served. Bunnies often are adopted quickly. There's no guarantee they'll be available for a Meet & Greet unless you reserve them.
- It's a good idea to have 1 or 2 favorites picked out ahead of time.
