Available Adoptable Fosters

All Foster Adoptions are reduced April 1-30
$25 per bunny

We have an intake waiting list so we are reducing adoption fees for all our fosters.
Thank you for supporting our ongoing goal to help those in need.

Welcome to Our Foster Adoption Sanctuary!

Here you can:
  • preview foster animals that are in our foster program who are upcoming and not yet ready for adoption
  • reserve + adopt fosters that are ready for adoption

When to expect information + adoption timeline:

  1. Intake: When animals come to us we do emergency care, medical care, health and social assessments. Depending on the needs of the animal, this process can take 1 week to as long as 4 months depending on their needs. Most of our intakes are ready for adoption within 4 weeks of intake. During the intake period, the animal is not available for a Meet & Greet.
  2. Pre-Adoption: Once we complete all our assessments and the animal is stable we will create their online adoption profile here so people can see who is available for adoption and reservations will open for them. At this point, animals are available for a Meet & Greet.
  3. Adoption: Once animals are ready for adoption they can be reserved + adopted at any point. If you're interested in meeting one of our fosters prior to pay you can schedule a meet and greet. Visit the Appointment Calendar.

How to Reserve + Adopt:

  1. Read over our website to ensure you understand our sales policies and know what to expect.
  2. Once a foster animal is available for adoption you can click on their Reserve + Adoption Button to go to the adoption page.
  3. Read through the adoption page questions and select the animal you are committed to adopting.
  4. Select the appropriate options for pick up.
  5. Select Local Transport unless you are preapproved for anything else.
  6. Add the animal adoption profile to your cart. You can add multiple animals to your cart at a time.
  7. Complete the checkout and payment process.
  8. Once your adoption transaction goes through then your animal is reserved for you.

After reservation:

  1. You will get an automatic email receipt.
  2. Within 2 business days of reservation we will send you a personalized adoption email that details pick up information and how to schedule your pick up appointment.
  3. This is a good time to Visit the Rabbit Savvy Loaf Shop and purchase any items you would like for your animal. We offer local pick up and shipping for all our products.

Helpful Information:

  • Each foster has extensive detailed information about them on their adoption profile.
  • We offer bonding services at no cost for our foster adoptions. For example: You have a single bunny or a pair already and want to adopt a partner for them. OR. We have a bonded pair and another single or pair. You'd like a trio or quad and you'd like them all bonded together. This is essentially our Bonding Bootcamp for free. Please reach out with questions.
  • Our website is live and people often adopt our fosters quickly once they're available.
  • Adoptions & reservations are on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • You can schedule a Meet & Greet at any time on the Appointment Calendar.
  • There's no guarantee an adoptee will be available for a Meet & Greet unless you reserve them through their profile. This is applicable even if their adoption fee is $0 or more.
  • You must schedule a pick up day within 7 days of adoption. If you need to pick up after 7 days there is a small boarding fee starting on day 8, due prior to pick up. You can pay for boarding here.

How we care for our fosters:

Extensive Pre-Adoption Care:
  • Health & Social Assessments with interventions as needed
  • Internal and External Parasite Treatments
  • Medical Care specialized to their needs
  • Full Grooming Care
Each foster will come with:
  • Any historical paperwork we have for them
  • Health Certificate
  • Lifetime Support
  • Transition Food appropriate for their needs

Foster Adoption Fees:

Adoption fees: $10-200 per adoptee

Reasons we discount adoption fees for our fosters:
  • They've been with us the longest.
  • They are special needs so finding a family is more important than an adoption fee.
  • We are full and have pending foster applications.

Social/Emotional: Poppy is sweet yo1ung lady that enjoys cuddling with her bunny peers. She shows a lot of potential and she definitely wants to connect with people. She handles being held just fine and enjoys a more football style hold that is firm and comfortable. She is treat motivated and we've been using this to show her safety and a loving experience. She is a curious girl. We have been diligently working with her on socialization, being handled and being in a home environment.
