Here you can:
- preview upcoming litter information and babies that are not yet available to reserve for adoption.
- reserve babies who are available for adoption but not yet ready to go home.
- adopt babies who are available to go home right away.
When to expect information + adoption timeline:
- Pre-Birth: Once we have a confirmed pregnancy we will post anticipated litter information.
- Birth: We will post basic litter details, anticipated dates and a group photo.
- 3-4 Weeks Old: Adoption Profiles will be posted for all available babies.
- 4 Weeks Old: Reservations open for all available babies.
- 6 Weeks Old: Hamsters are ready to go home.
Getting your hamster home:
November through March - Hamsters are only approved for Local Pick Up
- Local Pick Up
- Fly in + Pick Up: You can fly here and pick up your hamster and then take them home with you on an in cabin flight
- Local Personal Delivery - You must have an approved request.
- Alaska Airline Cargo Shipping - You must have an approved request.
- Personal Nanny Flight - You must have an approved request.
How to reserve + adopt:
- Read over our website to ensure you understand our sales policies and know what to expect.
- Once reservations open you can click on the Reservation Link.
- Read through the adoption page questions and select the hamster you are committed to adopting.
- Select the appropriate options for pick up.
- Select Local Transport unless you are preapproved for anything else.
- Add your hamster to your cart. You can add multiple hamster to your cart at a time.
- Complete the checkout and payment process.
- Once your transaction goes through then your bunny is reserved for you.
After reservation:
- You will get an automatic email receipt.
- Within 48 hours of reservation we will send you a personalized adoption email that details pick up information and how to schedule your pick up appointment.
- This is a good time to Visit the Rabbit Savvy Loaf Shop and purchase any items you would like for your hamster. We offer local pick up and shipping for all our products.
Helpful Information:
- This is the first place we update any litter information.
- We only breed Dwarf Syrian Hamsters.
- Hamsters will show as 'SOLD OUT' in two ways:
- Before their reservation date opens.
- After reservations open AND they have been successfully reserved by someone.
- Reservations open at 6:00pm PST on the day of reservation.
- Our website is live and people often adopt our hamsters quickly once they're available. We raise our hamsters for quality and have limited litters at any given time due to the nature in which we raise them.
- More than one person can have the same hamster in their cart at the same time. Once you complete checkout the hamster is reserved for you. You will receive an automatic receipt, which means your adoption was successful.
- Reservations cannot be switched from one hamster to another. As each adoption is first come first serve. Please make sure you choose the hamster you are committed to. You can adopt more than one hamster however they require individualized housing.
- Parent information and their photos can be found on the Mom and Dad Page.
- We take frequent photos & videos and post them on our Instagram.
- Breeding Rights/Pedigree: We do not sell breeding rights at this time.
- Our Pet Hamster Prices: Syrian Dwarf Hamster are $150
How we raise our nursery babies:
Our nursery hamsters are ethically raised through our nursery program. Our goal is to raise healthy, socialized Syrian Hamsters. We specialize in long haired Syrian hamsters.
