How to Enroll in Our ESA Program:

  1. Make sure you read over everything so you know what to expect.
  2. Decide if you want to reserve and match with an ESA Bunny that is Listed as Available already on this page or a Future ESA Bunny.
  3. Submit an ESA Enrollment Form that is located at the bottom of this page. We will respond to your request form within 72 business hours. If you need alternative transport we will include this information and make sure we can accommodate that. If we are unable to accommodate alternative transport options then you must come here to pick up your bunny in person.
  4. Pay your ESA Program Fee. This guarantees your ESA spot and being matched with an ESA Bunny. You have the option to select an Available Bunny Listed below or wait to match with a future Bunny.
  5. Pay your Alternative Transport Fees. If applicable. We will send an invoice. ESA account balances must be paid in full prior to your bunny leaving us.

What to Expect + Helpful Information:

  • Each family's timeline is unique.
  • We are selective in which bunnies get placed into our training program. We will help you match with an ideal candidate based on your wants and needs. Depending on your timeline, this process usually takes 1-12 weeks depending on which bunnies are currently available or will be available in the future. We select bunnies from our Nursery Program and give our ESA Program families first choice on upcoming babies. Upcoming litter (baby bunny) information can be found on the nursery page. Bunnies must be at least 8 weeks old in order to enter our ESA Program.
  • Your ESA Programs fees and transport fees must be paid in full in order to move forward in the program. This secures your bunny for you, ensures we are able to schedule vet appointments, schedule transport like flights and pay all the costs for your bunny in a timely manner.
  • Payment Plans: Yes, we can accommodate a personalized payment plan. Accounts must be paid in full prior to ESA take home date. We offer payment plans from 2-12 months.
  • Your bunny will be trained through our entire program from age 8 weeks through 6 months.
  • Your bunny will be spayed/neutered at 6 months of age. We will manage their surgery aftercare. This is typically a 2-3 week process. Once they are healed they will be ready to go home.
  • We will work with you for the ideal take home date, flight, etc.
  • Local pick up/Personal Transport: We will have their take home kit available up to 2 weeks prior to their take home date if you want to pick it up before hand. Otherwise it will be ready the day of going home. Your bunny will be ready to go in their carrier on take home day.
  • Transport/Flights: If you live afar, we will ship all your take home supplies to you about 2 week prior to their go home date. Their carrier or take home crate may vary depending on how they travel.
  • Your bunny will be ready to go home with you once they have completed training, are spayed/neutered and fully recovered. Typically around 6-7 months of age. Due to the extensiveness of our training program we only have a couple of bunnies training at any given time.
  • Many of our adoptive families live across country or many hours away. We welcome you to visit your bunny prior to their take home date either by Virtual Meet and Greet or in person Meet and Greet.
  • Occasionally we offer experienced adult therapy bunnies, which we will have posted below. You can reserve them at any time if they are available. These bunnies have gone through our entire ESA program and are ready for placement. This means there is a little to no waiting period. This allows us to train more bunnies who are excellent candidates and reach more families in need of an ESA. If you are interested in an available adult ESA bunny, please submit your ESB Form and let us know you are interested in a specific bunny. All of the Program Costs are the same without the 6-7+ months of waiting.
  • We also list below our excellent candidates from our Nursery Program and they are our "Bunnies in Training". This means they showed such excellent potential for ESA before they were 8 weeks old so we pulled them from our Available Nursery Bunnies and placed then into our ESA Program. Their ready to go home date will be based on when we anticipate their program completion.
  • Most of our ESAs are never posted on the website because they are matched with a family around 6-8 weeks of age.
  • Licensing and ESA Documentation: Each state has their own laws regarding ESAs. We are located in the State of Oregon, US, but our bunnies travel to live all over the world. There is not currently a national registry for ESAs. We cannot license your ESA for you. Typically this is done through your personal mental health therapist, psychiatrist or Primary Care Provider.

Paying ESA Fee + Reserving Your ESA Bunny

If we have ESA Bunnies in training that have not yet matched with families, we will post their profiles here for a future family match. When paying your program fee you can select one of the available ESA bunnies in training or you can select a future bunny. Selecting a future bunny match means we will work to match you with a good fit based on your needs.

Please fill out the ESA Program Form so we are able to get some of those important details.
