Louie has been an amazing addition to our program and he always outproduces himself with every mama pairing. He has a nice thick, compact body and a super sweet personality. He is very affectionate and loving! He would be an amazing companion lap bun. He's very easy to hold and loves to just chill. Breed-wise, he is an easy breeder and can handle even sassy gals. If you're looking for a good typey boy he would be good.
Companion wise - he is SWEET and super affectionate. He loves being held, getting attention and if you offer him a banana piece he'll go crazy in love. He has excellent litterbox habits and keeps himself very clean. He's pretty chill and laid back. He would be fine with kiddos and other pets.
When he was younger he got poked in the left eye with some straw/hay and he is partially blind. He hasn't had any issues with it. He had a full course of antibiotics as prevention and he healed up fine. He doesn't seem to be bothered. This is not genetic and would not be passed on to his babies. Before Adoption each baby has preventative treatments for internal and external parasites, a full groom session, and nails trimmed.
Teddywidders have the option to be shaved down at your request. We give them Lion cuts. Sometimes, if they're molting or need shaved we will do so automatically to keep their fur healthy.
