Social/Emotional: Hershey was found abandoned inside a home that had been an eviction home. He was likely in that home for 3-4 months before being found. Fortunately, he had free access to the entire house which likely saved his life, as he was able to forage. In spite of his start to life, Hershey is a kind little man and nothing much bothers him. He's confident and curious. He can also be silly. He has played with several unfixed males as part of his assessment process and has lived with a couple of boys during his time with us and he has done exceptionally with all of them. He could definitely benefit from a buddy. He accepts being held now and comes up for pets. Which is huge in his process to trust people again!

Hershey has passed all his pre-adoption assessments and is ready for his family! He has had some additional medical care both as treatment and as a preventative due to his circumstances. He has had two different types of antibiotic treatments and ongoing probiotic treatments to ensure good gut health. He has also had all our other typical preventative treatments. Other than having a respiratory infection he was surprisingly healthy when he was found.
All bunnies that are part of our Community Adoption Program are indoor only and are available to pet homes only. By adopting any of these bunnies you are agreeing to a non-breeding contract that does not expire or change for the remainder of their life.
Pickup is within 7 days of adoption here in Beaverton, OR.
You will receive a personalized email from us after your reservation/adoption goes through that will include all the pertinent information for pickup.
If you need personal delivery, shipping, or ground transport - please contact us prior to reserving/adopting to ensure we can accommodate your request.
Personal Delivery: You will receive a quote, instructions, and a link to pay.
Ground Transport by us: You will receive a quote and instructions. Ground Transport can be paid through that page.
Ground Transport by a 3rd Party: You will receive a quote for us to meet your transport, plus any boarding fees if there is a delay in transport at $5 per day as well as any instructions and links to pay for services by us. You will also need to pay your 3rd party for their services.
Reservations are on a first-come-first-served basis.
