Shady Grove Healthy Skin & Coat Oil is an oral and topical supplement that can be used to aid whole body health.
When used internally as a daily supplement to the current feed it adds an excellent source of natural vitamin E and omega-3 and 6 fatty acids. The rich blend of healthy oils helps provide a healthy and shiny coat from the inside out. It also provides aid to a healthy gut bacteria balance for proper digestion.
The benefits of our fortified oil carry over to topical application when used on dry, cracked, flakey skin. You can also use it inside ears for crusty skin and ear mite relief.
Safe for skin contact on humans, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small pets, dogs, cats and other animals. When dealing with anything it’s best practice to wash your hands before and after handling.
Oral Skin & Coat Supplement:
Give 1/2 dropper per 5lbs daily. You can give it directly or put it on top of their food.
Ear Cleaning & Mite Relief:
Our Oil does not treat mites, but it will treat the symptoms of mites. Apply 1-3 drops into the ear and massage into the ear canal. Let absorb up to 5 minutes, allowing the oil to break up and loosen debris from the skin in the ear. Use cotton pads and swabs to clean any excessive dirt and debris from the ear. Allow your pet to shake their head if they want to, this will also help dislodge any loose particles. Continue to use the cotton pads until the ear is acceptable. You can apply more drops on very sore, sensitive, red, ears as needed. You can use this in conjunction with our Mite Treatment Drops.
Topical Skin & Coat Treatments:
Apply a few drops on the affected area and rub or let soak into the skin.
Other applications:
For pregnant or nursing Does, sick, weak, frail, or underweight pets, add one dropper for every 5 lbs daily as needed.
