Social/Emotional: They are talkative, curious and very treat motivated. They love hay piles, lots of things to chew on like carboard and apple sticks. They would benefit from a family who would like to spend time with them, hold them often and give them enriching things to do and play with.

  • Feet/Nails: Healthy, we do recommend regular nail trims every 3-4 weeks.
  • Overall/Fur/Skin: Healthy. They have been "barbering" each other, which is behavior of chewing on their own or each other's hair/fur. This is due to being in a highly stressful environment.
  • LitterBox Behavior: We've given them a litterbox and we use paper bedding and fleece in their enclosure.

History:

  • These boys were part of an out of control situation of about 30 guinea pigs. They were taken in by a good Samaritan who then connected with multiple rescues, including us. We got all the boys in our care and are now looking to find them forever homes.
