We use Alaska Airlines only when we do Cargo shipping and In Personal Flight Transport.

Cargo Shipping

If you need cargo shipping then you will need to fill out the Airport Check Form to ensure a flight is available for your destination.

​ Helpful information:

• Rabbits will be shipped within a week of their take-home date or date of adoption or on a date that we mutually agree to since weather can affect flight availability.
• The departure flight must depart PDX between 7am and 12pm. 
• Weather is a factor. If your location gets below 45 degrees F or above 85 degrees F during the landing time then flights may be restricted that day.

If our location is too cold, Alaska may deny all cargo shipping of animals. In these cases you can:

1. A)Board: Pay for boarding until Alaska Airlines allows Cargo shipping. See boarding after adoption.
2. Pay the difference to have personal air shipping (we can send you a quote)
3. Ground Transport (within 30 days of adoption): Switch to ground transport and we will pay the transport fee up to $300. The remaining Shipping Fee will cover Boarding until transport, Transport to the 3rd Party Transporter and all supplies necessary to get them to you.

Cargo shipping is $599 for 1-2 bunnies and includes: the airline ticket, any documentation needed per the airport regulation requirements, an airline approved crate, water & food dish that attaches to the crate and an absorbent reusable pad. 

A second bunny ships FREE within the same crate IF:

1. Both bunnies are under 12 weeks of age.
2. Both bunnies are the same gender.
3. One or both bunnies are spayed/neutered
4. Any other combination requires our approval. 

​If your bunnies do not meet these requirements or you are adopting more than 2 bunnies, you will need to pay for Cargo Shipping Rate for them as well. You can also contact us for help with this.

Personal In Flight Transportation

In addition we offer in cabin personal delivery to your airport of choice which can range between $600-$2000. If Alaska Cargo does not have cargo flights available to your airport but they do have regular passenger flights, then please contact us prior to reservation and we will give you a quote on how much personal delivery would be to your airport. You may also choose this option if you feel more comfortable having your rabbit fly in cabin with someone.

In flight Personal Delivery will be Saturdays-Mondays only.
