Process

  1. Read over all the information here and on our about page in order to decide what Therapy Option(s) works best for your needs. 
  2. Fill out a Therapy Application.
  3. Once your application is submitted we will go over it ASAP, generally within 48 hours. We will go over any details necessary, including total cost break down, fees, dates and times, etc.
  4. Once an application is approved:
    • if your session is the same day or within 24 hours, you must pay your session fees within 1 hour in order to guarantee it.
    • if your session is 25 hours-14 days in advance,  you must pay your session fees within 4 hours in order to guarantee it.
    • if your session is 15+ days in advance, you have 48 hours to pay your session fees in order to guarantee it.
  5. After these timelines you will need to contact us to reaffirm availability, upon reconfirmation of availability you have 1 hour to pay your session fees.
  6. All session fees can be paid through the Therapy Tab. 
  7. Once your session and fees are paid we will manually schedule your sessions and you will receive a confirmation email to the provided email address on your application.

    Therapy Application
    • If a bunny is physically harmed or dies from unnatural causes you will be responsible for their vet bills in their entirety or the cost of the bunny ($500-$800) without insurance. Bunny Insurance is $20 and can be purchased at the time of  each Therapy reservation payment. Our insurance covers all bunnies attending sessions and any physical hard or death during the specified session date and time. 
    • You must follow the guidance and education from Shady Grove Rabbitry and their identified advocates as to their process and how to care for and handle each bunny during sessions. Every single time. And that if you do not or cannot manage the physical care of bunnies, Shady Grove Rabbitry has the right to revoke services at their discretion in order to maintain the health and safety of the bunnies, as well as their clients. 
    • Children and people under the age of 18 can participate in therapy sessions, parents must be present at all times. 
    • Every member of Shady Grove is fully vaccinated again Covid-19. We follow all federal and state mandatory regulations first. Regardless of our status we are happy still wear masks at your events at your request, even if it's not mandatory. Please indicate if you have any Covid-19 preferences or health issues that you would like us to be aware of. This information is completely voluntary and does not affect your application process in any way. 
    • Any information you share with us is private and confidential. Our goal is to be informed, to educate and to support our clients in the best ways possible. 
    • We do our best to meet the needs and specific requests from our clients, we may not always be able to guarantee a specific date or time for sessions. We can also give you recommendations and/or alternative date/time choices.
