How to Review & Book Grooming Services:

  1. Look at your pet from their nose to their toes assessing for anything that needs to be taken care of.
  2. Review all our services. Determine which services fit best.
  3. Pay for your services. You can pay and book multiple sessions at once. For example, you need two bunny nail trims. You will receive an automatic receipt via email. Our address is at the bottom of this email.
  4. Book your Grooming Services through the Appointment Calendar taking a note of how long they typically last.
  5. We will review your booked services, and update your appointment with our address and add any notes. We will also let you know if your session will last longer than the typical time based on your selections and adjust your appointment manually through Google Calendars. You will receive an email update.
  6. Bring your pet in a travel-safe carrier. Nail Trims only take a few minutes and we can show you how to maintain at home. For all other services you will drop off at their appointment time. We have a strict biosecurity routine so we don't allow people inside our home or in our bunny room.
  7. If we need additional time with your pet or see any problems that prevent us from completing any of our services we will text - or call - you to let you know.
  8. Pick up your pet at the end of their session. (This is a great time to run errands!)
  9. Upon pick up we will give you an overview of their session.
Helpful Information:
  • If you aren't sure what your pet needs that's ok. Sometimes bunnies have complicated issues like matting or urine scalding. Not a worry! We can work with any situation. Book an appointment, just bring them in as is and we will assess them for you. We don't judge and we are happy to help.
  • We do accept cash and card payments if you'd like to pay in person. We can also invoice you by request.

  • We have a lot of tricks to safely work with any personality.

Nail Trim

Nail trims are the most common type of grooming people need help with.

We typically serve bunnies and guinea pigs but we also offer services for cats, dogs, and other pets.

If your pet is spicy during nail trims that's ok! We have a few safe tricks and methods we can use to help your pet stay healthy. Remember your pet's nails are essential to their health and trimming them is important.

If your pet has a lot of difficulty with nail trims we can work with you to establish a healthy nail trim routine. Sometimes it can take some time, trust building, and patience. You may need to initially come in frequently (every 2-3 weeks) to get your pet on track and then establish normal intervals for nail trim services. We can build a plan that works for you and your pet.

During each nail trim, we will evaluate your pet's nails, trim them to a healthy length and give you advice if we see any problems specific to your pet's nails. Typically we use our high-quality nail trimmers. It's the fastest method. We also have a nail dremel that we may use if needed. Rarely, but it can happen, if your pet's nails bleed we use Kwik Stop Bleeding powder, which is highly effective and works very well.

Common pet nail issues:
  • Dark nails with quicks that are difficult to see
  • Very long, overgrown nails
  • Curled and curved nails
  • Nails that have been pulled out or broken off
  • Damaged nails like splits
  • Infected nails/toes
  • Very sharp nails
  • Tiny nails like those on a baby bunny
Nail Trim Service Fees:
  • Bunny - $10
  • Guinea Pig - $5
  • Other Small Pet - $5
  • Cat - $25
  • Small/Medium Dog 0-30lbs - $25
  • Large Dog 30+lbs - $40
Nail Trim Timeframe:
  • 5-20 Minutes depending on your pet

Bunny Complete Groom Spa Session

Our Standard Grooming Session Includes:
  • Health Check (Body, Ears, Eyes, Teeth, Feet, Nails, Fur, Skin)
  • Nail Trim - We trim and evaluate each nail to a nice healthy length. See our nail trim explanations above.
  • Dry Shampoo - We use a safe dry powder or foaming shampoo that is no rinse. This is good for small pee spots, dirty toes and minor freshening up.
  • Ear Cleaning - We evaluate and check inside and outside the ears. Checking for signs of mites or infection. We typically use cotton balls and pads along with a warmed safe ear cleaning solution we massage into the ear prior to cleaning.
  • Scent Gland Cleaning. - Male and female bunnies have scent glands around their genitals. These are commonly clogged up and get gunky. This can get smelly and if built up enough can cause infections and other problems. We carefully clean the entire area with mineral oil, cotton qtips and gentle massaging.
  • Full Brush Out - Regardless of the type of fur coat your bunny has they need regular brushing. Brushing your bunny can help their coat stay healthy and also prevent them from swallowing 'too much' fur while self grooming. Swallowed fur has the potential to cause Wool Block. A potentially fatal issue for bunnies.
  • Blow Out - If your bunny is molting or has a fur texture that responds best to a blow out.

Add-On Services:

  • Booty Wash & Blow Dry - Booty, Tail & back feet, poopy butt, heavy butt mats. Some bunnies are messy and have poopy butt or pee built up, have a disability or just need a fresh booty detailing. This is pretty common. Your bunny doesn't need a full body wash but definitely needs to address their mess. We use high quality washes to eliminate urine/poop built up that can be detrimental to the health of your rabbit's sensitive skin. Depending on what your bunny needs, we will wash their lower half and dry them completely. We use a cornstarch based baby powder with added Vitamin E at the end of every session to ensure healthy dry skin.
  • Full Wash & Blow Dry - All the fluffy pieces and creases. Just like our 1/2 wash but everywhere. This isn't as common but sometimes is necessary. We safely wash your bunny. This is usually common for a skin/fur issue or if your bunny really smells bad. A professional wash can help eliminate mites or fleas and other issues along with medicated treatment. Which we can provide. They will also be fully dry prior to going home. We use a cornstarch based baby powder with added Vitamin E at the end of every session to ensure healthy dry skin.
  • Mite/Flea/Tick Monthly Treatment - Fleas: We use Advantage 2 Topical (Imidacloprid 9.10%, Pyriproxyfen 0.46%) for off label use and safe for rabbits for the Treatment and prevention of Fleas. It kills adult fleas, flea larvae and flea eggs within 12 hours of application for 30 days. Mites: For the treatment and prevention of Fur Mites (walking dandruff) and ticks, we use Ivermectin topical and/or Ivermectin Paste Oral. Which is highly affective at killing all types of mites and ticks with as little as one application. For active infestations we recommend a follow up with your Vet.
  • Heavy Mat Removal - If your bunny has matted fur with any fur type, in any amount we can address it and get them back on track. This is a common issues for wooly bunnies with long fur.
  • Sanitary Fur Trim - Basic Trims, typically around the butt and feet or eyes. Some bunnies get matted, dirty and need their fur trimmed short for maintenance. This is good for elderly or disabled rabbits that struggle to groom themselves or have incontinence issues.
  • Full Body Shave/Hand Plucking - Typical for Angora and Wool Types who need a summer shave or have their wool harvested since they do not completely shed without help. Some people prefer a lion cut for their long haired bunnies.
