Our Timothy Hay based formula is nutritionally balanced and made with natural ingredients and hydration support to replenish the electrolytes that are lost through stress, heat, and illness. It promotes direct gut hydration with added beet pulp to increase the water-holding capacity of the body while also delivering fiber to keep the gut moving. It supports intestinal health and volatile fatty acid production for optimal gut health and PH balance. It also has ground flaxseed to support a shiny coat and provide omega-3 fatty acids.
This supplement includes live Yeast Culture, Microencapsulated Probiotics and Digestive Enzymes, a broad spectrum of proteinated and chelated minerals, vitamins, and beneficial organic Selenium.
Safe for all ages of bunnies and guinea pigs. Consult your vet for other small herbivore animals.
Give:
Up to 1 tablespoon per 5lbs per day during times of stress, illness, needed weight gain and pregnant or nursing does.
Can be given as a sole source of feed when a bunny or guinea pig is not currently eating due to illness like GI Stasis. Or to increase food consumption it can be added to their current diet as a supplemental food.
You can sprinkle it on top of their current pellet food as an incentive to eat or mix the supplement with water and feed it as a runny water-based feed.
