Our Timothy Hay-based Papaya Bars are handmade with organic, high-quality ingredients. No fillers, additives or yuckies. Papaya has proteolytic qualities of its enzymes - This just means the enzymes break down protein. When it's shedding (molting) season, bunnies have a tendency to ingest more fur than usual which can lead to blockages. Wooly rabbits, like Angoras and Lionheads, are prone to wool block so these supplements are a great addition all year long. The high-fiber timothy hay helps aid the digestive tract in keeping things moving along as well.
Each bar breaks into 10 squares. Give 2 Squares per week regardless of age, weight or breed.
During high molting stages, you can give one square per day to help prevent wool block.
