Our Timothy Hay-based Papaya Bars are handmade with organic, high-quality ingredients. No fillers, additives or yuckies. Papaya has proteolytic qualities in its enzymes - This just means the enzymes have the ability to break down protein in the fur/hair that is digested. When it's shedding (molting) season, bunnies have a tendency to ingest more fur than usual which can lead to blockages. Wooly rabbits, like Angoras and Lionheads, are prone to wool block so these supplements are a great addition all year long. However, any breed and age of bunny can get a blockage from overgrooming and an inability to break down hair/fur. The additional ingredients we add like timothy hay, pumpkin, squash and flowers/herbs, as a group, help the digestive tract maintain movement while also adding essential minerals, vitamins and nutrients to help prevent GI Stasis.
Each package contains 5ct.
For maintenance: Give 1 biscuit per week regardless of age, weight or breed.
During high molting stages or digestive issues, you can give one biscuit per day.
